teddy bear is learning english ...

I'm very proud of teddy bear .... he started to attend my church sunday school , a special ministry for the special children. Somehow he is so pandai, he knows when is sunday, he wakes up early and ask to go to school. When he was young, he went to school and learned some basic Bahasa Malaysia , but since he stopped school , he has forgotten most of them .... Now at the age of 43 years old or this year, he learnt the following english words :-
1. When anyone ask him 'How are you ?' , he shld be able to reply 'Fine, thank you.'
2. Apple , Orange, Car, Sleep , School, Shower
3. See you
4. Stand up
5. One screw up word 'Panana' - because I was too impatient, I taught him 'papaya' first, then rush into another word 'banana' , the end result - he thinks the real betik is called 'panana' now , aiiiii , damaged done - trying to correct him slowly :(

there's a talk to send him away to a home or care center ....gosh, I wish there is better choice... I think nothing beats his own 'home' , a place where he is so used to, know how to switch on the TV, lights , sleeping on his own smelly bed , most of all - a loving home , a home where he knows he is loved, he is well taken care of , also a place he gets to meet his family members..... I am just too sad to put him into a home or care center.... choices and sacrifices - something for my family to think through and work it out pretty soon ......

Apple sent me an e-invoice , the registered business address is Hong Kong....Apple is smart :) ..I learnt from an e-business expert, he taught me and my partner that to do e-business or the matter of fact , to do business - go to open a bank account and setup a company in Hong Kong , all this can be done in super short time 1 day ....the beauty of it - is that the business is free of tax for foreigners :) ....hey, that is one of the best deal .... see , even giant corporation like si Apple , produce and warehouse apple products in Shenzhen, China - due to cheaper labor....then ship out from Hong Kong and make the business deal invoiced from Hong Kong - to enjoy the free taxes - pandai kan , utilizing the global benefits or incentives given by each countries :)

Dec - my messy room

Let me show my readers my horrible messy room .....any single man who saw my room , will be scared and ran away cepat-cepat , haaaa..... my 1Q 2010 task is to clean up - move to master bedroom, unload all the packed boxes , make my life organized a bit :) .... coz right now , I DARE NOT find anything , coz I cannot find or don't know where ... messy messy messy !

Hari ni dalam sejarah - reseach Egypt tour

Bahija and sister sibuk reseach for CNY tour , as usual - commanded from mummy lor .... christmas trip belum pergi , sudah nak enrol for CNY , today even tell me April nak go Hokkaido , aiyuh , stress nyaaaaaaaaa, her daughters and son have to resolve to printing 'fake' ringgit liow lor ...... Anyway, I am now checking for Egypt tour - brought back the sweet memories, I really had an awesome unforgetable trip with Ringgit, CY and Kiasu Ching. Today all of us are busy with our own lives, it's so impossible to have another similar long trip together ...gosh, glad that I made it that time, haaaa

That time, the best travel agent with best itinerary was Excellence Holidays. Today , this agency sudah bankrupt , tutup kedai....So , I seached , called up the various agents again - they were Parlos, Marco Polo, Reliance, Apple - read their initerary , wasn't impressed with it ...

This morning , I went downtown helped my brother cancelled his insurance policies. While I stopped for traffic light, suddenly there was a bus - not to be missed -stationed next to me - it said 'Pearls Holidays' ....Ah Ha , I quickly noted down , went home googgled checked their itinerary ....wow - perfect .... I like it so much ...The iti is like this :

Bahrain -> Cairo -> Alexandria ( North ) -> then Aswan ( South ) -> Abu Simbel -> Kom Ombo -> Edfu -> Esna -> Luxor -> Cairo ---after learning all the history, hearing all the stories from South to North - saving the best for the last - keep us 'suspense' - on the last few days when back to Cairo - finally go Pyramid , Sphinx

My Egypt trip was like that only I didn't go Abu Simbel and Alexandria .... now this tour by Pearls Holidays is quite complete with all destinations , for CNY departure all in is RM 6584 11D9N ... In the market, some travel agent also include new destination callled Hurghada ( near the Red Sea )

Now I want to think and wonder , did God send the bus to tell me about Pearls Holidays .... if yes , I'm in - I like their itinerary and tour price is not expensive - reasonable at the KL market rate... Then , if He is behind this ah , can I then tell Him to help get more customers to sign up ah ...because there is only 6 enrolment now ...min for tour to jalan is 15 participants ... Hmm, challenge sikit , sakit hati put down payment , last minute said tak jadi leh ....aiiii - guess I go pray pray - hehehe

my christmas & birthday present

Dec 13 evening, finally - I placed my order - this is a gadget I've talked about for many many years ....it's kind of cool to track the status ....anticipating his arrival at my doorstep, today I am off , perhaps can stay home and welcome him ...haaaaa , feeling happy , then focus and load all the songs into him especially christmas songs now , then when I'm touring Turkey in the cold winter time , listening to christmas songs , sip hot chocholate - wow , baru ada feel !!

Dec moving fast .....

I had a shock when I talked to a friend, she reminded me that I'll be out of country pretty soon ....suddenly I terperanjat , quickly look at the calender , wow - indeed - Dec is passing fast , still a few things to settle before the clock turn to 2010 .... tomorrow morning hope can wake up early and go for a hike ( need some exercise la - been so lazy ) , then go for my exam, at noon, after the exam , meet my fav kakies, then dinner, chat chat ...then head home prepare christmas shopping list , then prepare for sunday activities and plan for all the tasks for next week .... the week after next - Bahija is out of country deee - gosh , hehehe - now I panick - belum mentally preparing myself ..... viola , ttyl !!

Sis wedding ...

Last thursday , brother and sis-in-law flew back from HK , then all family members came back helped and together celebrated the big event ....felt so good, so happy ...busy yet fun. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the events ..... My brother and sis-in-law told mum that they still want to come back when I get marry - Haa, that's a very nice 'good-bye' statement :) After the event, when everyone went back to their respective life , I'm having a slight problem adjusting to the quieter house , not seeing little sis and new bro-in-law, also having to eat the huge serving of food served by my mum - guess she also need some time to adjust to less members in the house , thus need to cook less .... life is like that , we move forward adapting and make the change better for us. Gosh, the house suddenly so quiet liow wor :( ....sob sob sob .....

the grant

Today , Sanguine and I went to MDEC , we signed our Letter of Offer :) , the grant is RM150k , hoo hooooooo.....we managed to justified for the full amount , very happy. Next 20 days , have to register a company , so we are CEO, COO soon ....

Last friday , a call came - good opportunity to bid for a tender .....that is for 2010 work. If all fall into place , gosh , entah how to fully utilise my 24 hours a day liow...

Tak kisah la - worry that next year , I am on holiday mood liow , sis wedding this wkend, tonite dinner with Sanguine and her friends , celebrating her last day of being single , tomorrow it's her R.O.M

it's Nov 30 - last day of Nov ....now is 11:40 pm .... another 20 mins - Dec 1 liow - last mth for 2009 , sooooo fast, scary !!!

a new born baby ....

My eldest brother-in-law performed his water-baptism today .....my whole family and his family members went to my church and witnessed the ceremony. Hehehe, brother-in-law is a new born baby, I hope he continues to walk his spiritual life well, strengthen his personal relationship with the Almighty God.

This year, didn't watch any musical .....thus I decided to follow my friends - go for a concert. My last concert was very long time ago - back then , didn't quite enjoy the concert, thus stopped going ...tonight I went with my 3 other friends , it's a good gathering for us... Sandy Lam was having her concert in the indoor stadium. I went to Alan and Hakken's concert at the outdoor stadium. It rained just before the concert, so turned out it was a great night for concert, the weather is cooling , I enjoyed the concert. Guess I grew up with Alan and some of Hakken's songs, they sang well....I thoroughly enjoyed their concert, so my verdict is - Bahija is still OK to go concert, I 'still haven't felt 'old' yet - hahahaha....

The power of compliment !!

Bahija is a sole proprietor now , I worked for myself , I am my own boss - that mean I scold myself or my customer can scold me , other then that, no one else can scold me ...haha, that is the same as saying good things about me .... my customer only say 'thank you' to me, they didn't or haven't said 'good job' to me yet .... I have been on this current job for 17 months ... Oh boy , there is one thing I missed hearing : "excellent, good job , well done ' ...

Today , Bahija rushed for class....after class - sat for the oral exam ..... it's a very short less than 5 mins conversation with my instructor.... so I walked in , did the oral test.... my instructor with smiley face said 'Execellent' - over on my side, I was so happy to hear that, it's like in cloud nine lor .. for one simple word - it made my days :) ..... see la , no one said good words to me thesedays , until I sooooo deprive of it , hahahaha

preparing for oral exam ....

This Saturday is my first oral exam, 2 weeks from now is my first written exam liow....gosh, lacking brain juices :) .... got to work harder & play smarter to pass the exam. Started my class on Sept 28 .. so fast, first module finished, this sat is revision and oral exam....One good thing which keep me excited is that NOW , when I open the dictionary, I should know how to pronounce a word better , based on the phonetic alphabets :) , for example : ŋ ð ʃ ʒ

I am enjoying myself in this class, now I always receive various emails on job openings .....for those who is free and don't know how to 'waste' their time , come see me, I have plenty of things to recommend ..... besides charity work, now we have job which pays quite well .....and time well spent ...okie , gtg zzzzzzzz tata !!!

my chinese writing ....

Tomorow is my sister ' 过 大 礼' , the groom's parent will send us some traditional chinese cookies, and some other items for the wedding ceremony..this is like the 'bersanding' thingy lah..... tomorrow, my mum will start to send the invitation cards to her friends. Tonight I helped her write the names on the cards.... my sister said my chinese writing looks good :) hehehe, proud a bit. After soooo many many years, my writing still boleh tahan ... on the card , ada 2 patung image , they are the groom and the bride :) , both of them are in the designing line, so of course, they spent time designed all sort of cards, their wedding photo session also a bit fun and different. Bahija cannot upload the wedding photo yet la, kena wait till after the date - baru can bocor secret- hehehe.... later la !

Starbie vourcher

It's the time again , gosh ....so mad at myself ....story goes like this ... For many years , Ringgit blessed me with Starbuck's coffee voucher. It's actually his mother's vouchers, the aunties are very smart, they invested in Berjaya stocks, as shareholders who attended the AGM, they received many goodies eg KennyRoger's vouchers, Starbuck's vouchers.... This time last year, Ringgit , Mystic_Grey and myself had dinner at Hartamas. Ringgit used his Kenny Roger's vouchers, gave me Starbuck's voucher. For many years, Bahija got to enjoy the Christmas flavours FOC. I told myself I must invest in Berjaya stocks , so that I myself get the free vouchers ....aii, 2009 is going to end soon, today , I am NOT a shareholder , so no freebies :( , kek seeeeee..... hint hint hint hint - anyone giving me vouchers :P

Likewise, I invested in Genting and other counters....Genting sent me many vouchers, some free stay , free food , some discounted price :) , hmmm, perhaps I should target those consumer counters, so that I get dividens as well as vouchers which I can use for myself :)

Nov - Dec , Bahija likes to sip the Starbie christmas coffees la ....this day, I kena minum the decaf version , gosh - they taste sooo different , I shld say 'tasteless' lor , thus waste of money nia , so expensive yet tasteless and I'm not satisfy and happy leh ....aiii, so I need to go drink early in the morning. Oh, last year ZE gave me a starbie mug as 'green' birthday present, when I use the mug , I get $1 off .....good deal to jimat !

Just realized today's date is 09-11-09 - looks good en :) ..... I want to tell a secret - hehe. Years ago, I was invited to be maid of honor. I suppose that time my self-respect was low , or I didn't like my own fat body , or for some ridiculas reason la .... I wasn't prepared to be a bridemaid. I wasn't in peace with myself , so one fine day , I emailed my dear friend and rejected the offer. years have gone by , I've never asked her what she thought of me, never brought up this matter with my friend....but for me, I actually felt guilty, regreted for my 'selfish' decision back then.... that was not bridesmaid , it's maid of honor leh. On and off , I do feel bad for myself , perhaps one fine day, I need to openly seek forgiveness from her - face to face. aiiiii

Tonight , Sangueen Queen asked me to be her bridesmaid , this time I happily agreed ( though I may still struggle within myself - never know when the evil Bahaja will show up and screw things up ..) Right now , I am committed to just be there for her ....serve her, make her the most happiest , sweetest bride of the day

end Nov - my eldest brother in law water-baptism ceremony , hehehe.....this is a great day , great moment for celebration ....it's also near to my Eldest sis and bro in law birthdays , so sekali go makan big big la .....I ordered a Garmin GPS , as their birthday gift :)

early Dec - Sanguine Queen marriage registration - helping out a bit ..

early Dec - youngest sis wedding , finally - after many months of preparation, the day is coming closer, I can see sis and future bro-in-law very stress with various activities....

mid Dec - my first written and oral exam - GOSH , as of now, I am totally lost with the phonics , looking at all the weird signs , I am just so confused to transribe :( .... I'm in RED zone liow

end Dec - which is from Dec 22 - Dec 31 , Bahija on vacation - Hoo Hoo ..... my ageing mummy is having osteopenia ( osteoperosis is stage 3 ) - my mummy is stage 2 la, at her age of 74 , her condition is considered excellent liow .... impact on her now, early morning, she feels numbness on her hips, so need to slowly wake up, spend some time exercising on bed first .... SO , all this pushed the decision for our year end vacation. My mummy afraid that if delay further, she may have other walking difficulty , so better grab the chance and go out see the world first while she can walk..... so Bahija is paying super duper BOMB price for our Turkey trip. I just have think positively that money spent, I'll find way to make it up, happy moments spend with mum - is goin to be prescious .....

Right now, my customer is going thru major upgrade , been getting late night calls and weekend support calls ..... I wish, I pray that mercy be granted upon me , that from now on till year end - my customer will have smooth upgrade = less or zero problems to me la ...else I really pening , one-woman show , I don't have any backup to back fill my job :( ..... Dec ma , last mth of the year - slow down , don't work so hard , lepak as much as they can ..... hahahaha

Bahija has many wedding invitations starting Nov .... I cannot afford to put on extra pounds la , else hodoh leh , hahaha, got to stay active & exercise a bit !

Oct 30 - GRANT

Oct 29 - Sanguine Queen and I went to CJ , met with MOSTI and some industry experts. We presented our idea. Oct 30 , an email came into our mailbox - Hoo Hoo , both of us were granted the MDEC government grant :) , HaHaHa..... we were asked to deliver our idea prototype in 9 mths , but we were justifying for 12 mths , 9 mths is $100k , 12 mths is $150k grant, so until now , we don't know how much is our grant yet , we are waiting for the committee to issue us letter of offer and contract signing ......

Our first submission in Sept - failed at stage 1. We resubmitted in mid Oct - all the way thru :)



With this grant , that means I get to taste how it is like to be a technoprenuer. Under 8th or 9th Msia plan, government started this initiative to provide grant incentives to people like us , if we have workable ideas, we apply and get the funding , then develop the prototype in 12 mths or less, after that , we hope to commercialize the product / services - that's too far to dream on now .... today is Oct 30 , give ourselves another 2 mths to play , rest a bit - come 2010 -we are going to be busy with various activities .... I'm happy for this achievement !

my Sanguine friend

I didn't know what is sanguine , until I met this friend of mine 7.5 years ago ....it was a Monday , I reported to work in In-Kei Cyberjaya....Sanguine Queeen was sitting opposite of me, my cubicle-mate la....She told me the truth , some of them were very funny , I always had many laughs during lunch time or even during working hours. I was a lone-ranger, no teammate in CJ , alone by himself. Luckily Sanguine Queen took good care of me, ajak me for lunches, else life could be damm boring then :) ..... I always remembered one good comment she told me, friday was 2 hours lunch time, so we usually went for better food. Back then, I always joined her big group, drove farther from office for yummy food. It's round table with 10 or more people....when food came - everyone digged in. I was a bit slow , this Sanguine Queen shouted very loud to me , "Bahija, you must fight grab the food faster , if not , you won't have anything to eat ....this A group people all very hungry and big eater , quick fight - faster " .... I was like shocked , big eyes and let go of the 'see see man man' style - fight for food :) hahaha... I hope I didn't pick up the 'rush food fighting' behaviour over the years.

Sanguine Queen is a direct person, she is very capable and smart. I leart many things from her. Both of us shared some common 'pains' together, so we kind of click well together..... Oct 24 - is one of the best moment for her.... I am so glad that she got engaged :) , finally she found her soulmate and entering into her next chapter of life soon ....

Wishing her the best , and may we continue to have many more laughs and fun moments .....
